Skating on Thin Ice (2020)
Reverend Robert Walker skating on Duddingston Loch ~1795. In the 18th century, this site near Edinburgh was a popular location for skating. However, due to global heating, the loch no longer freezes over. In the Arctic, the area covered by sea ice in the summer has shrunk by over 40% since 1979 and is now declining at a rate of 13% per decade.
